*From this morning*

Today I’m babysitting, which isn’t so horrible, since it’s only really one kid most of the day, and she’s napping. I’ve been babysitting these kids for a few days now. They can be pretty bad, but are generally good kids. Problems that y incur include the usual getting into things I’m not supposed to, eating things I’m not supposed to, and lying about things I’m supposed to do (not supposed to do) because the babysitter doesn’t know better. But that isn’t so much of a problem today, since I only have one kid until 3, and she’s to nap until then.

My problem is, I have nothing to do. There’s no internet connection that I can see, I didn’t bring a book because I assumed the whole world has an internet connection, if not wireless internet, and I was planning on blogging. A lot.

And I don’t have Adobe Photoshop anymore, my free trial ran out, which sucks because I was going to start to blog-scrap, all electronically, so I could document stuff. I like scrapping, I just don’t have the patience or whatever to sit down and scrap with real paper – that and I never really print photos. The scrap-urge usually comes infrequently, and when I have no pictures that I can use. By the time that I order pictures and get them, the urge is gone, and the photos sit in a drawer for years. So my solution was to e-scrap, and blog by “pages”. I also want to learn flash so I can make stories about friends and family that are funnier than looking at pictures and reading captions.

On my to do list: learn flash, get a photo-retouchy-fixer-program-thing, and figure out my real plans for next year.

All these need the net.

Figures.

so... now I'm downloading an Adobe Flash trial. it's taking FOREVER. But I'm really excited, and I think I'll have a lot of fun playing with the program for the month I get to use it. I already have some things lined up for my first flash, and hopefully it'll be fun. My second flash project will (hopefully) be centered around my comic (that kinda failed) "Redundant Dinosaur" with the theme of how lame XBox/XBox360/Playstation/Wii/Computer games are, and how none of the WWII games let the Nazi's win (I'm NOT a facist - it just makes the game more realistic and gives it a sort of purpose I think. The same could be said for American Revolution games if there really were any), and how velociraptors are never used, even though they would be awesome weaponsfor trench warfare.

No, I don't do drugs, smoke anything, or drink alcohol. I'm completely sober when I come up with these ideas. Yes, that does make them frightening - feel free to cower in my presence muhahhaa.

Sleep!
