So, we're redoing our kitchen: tearing out the old cabinets, fixing walls, etc. And everything was going fine until we tore out the sink, and found that 1) the wood had been rotting and 2) there were ants eating the wood. It wasn't just the wall, it went to the supports under the house and now we have to jack the house up and replace the rotten/eaten parts. Big bummer for my parents, because they were hoping to have the whole kitchen done within the next two weeks.
